Make a Difference in Your Community!The YMCA is hiring multiple Art and Science Specialty Camp Instructors for multiple locations in the city of Chicago for Summer 2023Art and Science Specialty Instructor provides leadership and planning of specialty STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) programs for different youth between the ages of 6-13 with hands-on active learning to promote critical thinking, curiosity, creativity, and communication.
Salary range $15.
90-$16.
50 per hourThis is a mobile position, with multiple opening for instructors to run camps at YMCA centers and camp sites in and around Chicago, including:

Part-time and full-time positions are available, making jobs at the Y ideal for students and non-students alike!Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age Must have a high school diploma or equivalency; completion of higher education coursework or degrees strongly preferred, especially within the science, technology, engineering, art, or math fields Must have prior experience working with youth; previous experience in a camp setting strongly preferred Able to carry 50
lbs Previous experience facilitating art or science youth programs Passion for working with diverse youth and ability to provide a high-quality of instruction using age-appropriate practices.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
