Senior Financial Analyst
A consumer product goods client of ours in the west suburbs of Chicago (near Elmhurst) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team (Hybrid role with 3 days in office / 2 remote).
CPG or manufacturing industry experience required!ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with the Region and BU Finance team on month end close including financial reporting and journal entriesProvide financial KPIs and analysis on actual results, operational processes, and financial planningAnalyze top line growth and high impact Operating expenses to assist with actions to drive profitPartner with business, finance, and accounting teams to help analyze, align, and report the key business driversPerform budgeting and forecasting activitiesIdentify, recommend, and evaluate opportunities for process improvement and standardization of key financial metricsEvaluate spend patterns versus historical norms, forecasted plans, and competitive benchmarks to recommend sound business decisions and opportunitiesMake recommendations to management based on in-depth knowledge of the operationsProvide ad-hoc financial analysis and modelingMaintain relationships with stakeholders across the organizationBring a strong work ethic and positive attitude to your responsibilities every dayQualificationsBS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience2-5 years of similar work experience in a finance or accounting roleFinancial acumen, experience with problem solving with analytical thinkingSAP, PowerPoint, Access experience, advanced Excel skills required (e.
