Summary:
The Patient Services Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families in a clinic setting.
This position is responsible for answering the telephone, scheduling appointments, and is directly responsible for the overall customer experience.
The position requires a strong commitment to the mission of the organization by providing a warm and welcoming environment to all employees.
This position is also primarily responsible for scheduling, room assignments, patient assessment, and charting.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Greets patient in person or over the phone, and provides excellent customer service to patients and their families in clinic setting.
Ensures patient check-in process is completed accurately and in accordance with Westside Children's Therapy policies.
Ensures clinic schedule is accurate and up to date.
Assigns patient rooms based on assigned floors.
Assists with room assignments for family members.
Assists with patient charting as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
1 year (Preferred) Customer Service Experience in a medical office setting; or 1 year (Preferred) experience in a medical practice setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
