Job Description Administrative Assistant Position Overview Environmental Consulting Group (ECG) is seeking an Administrative Assistant.
The successful candidate will work in ECG's Elmhurst, Illinois office.
The position involves word processing, technical data entry, writing draft reports and proposals, financial data entry, filing, and other administrative duties.
This position is the first point of contact for all phone customers, so it is essential that the candidate has the ability to quickly learn and convey ECG's breadth of services.
The successful candidate would work 40 hours per week (in office).
Key Responsibilities and Activities Answering phone calls Word processing Technical data entry Writing draft reports and proposals Financial data entry Providing certificates of insurance (COIs) to clients Ordering office supplies Managing certifications and governmental registrations (e.
g.
, GSA) Filing and other administrative duties Required Skills The successful candidate will have:
A two or four-year college degree Excellent writing and document editing skills Computer competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat) A strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work The ability to occasionally work under pressure to meet deadlines A familiarity with requests for proposals (RFPs) & Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus Benefits Include:
