Summary:
Evaluation and reporting of negative gynecological cases, evaluation, and interpretation of abnormal gynecological, non-gynecological and fine needle aspiration cases.
Cytotechnologists are responsible for identifying diagnostic material and referring cases to the pathologists appropriately.
Serve as a member of the Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) team providing on site adequacy evaluation of FNA procedures.
Provide technical advice and perform cytopreparation and processing as needed.
Must maintain records of screening slide counts and other activities.
Maintain Quality Control records where indicated.
Assist in gathering data relevant to quality assurance activities, continuous improvement activities and/or other special projects.
We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our laboratory team. The Cytotechnologist will be responsible for examining cellular samples to detect abnormalities and diseases, contributing to accurate patient diagnoses.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $32.02 - $48.07 per hour
