representative
.
POSITION
Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative will interface daily with Tractor Division in addressing customer requests. Will maintain contact with manufacturers' representatives and customers.
PRINCIPLE FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Including but not limited to:
Primary responsibility is to generate incremental revenue from assigned accounts
Assist field Sales representatives in the development of new business, new account generation and customer relationships within the tractor division/light equipment dept.
Keep current on the activities of competitors and advise supervisor of those activities, which can affect the success of Company objectives within the tractor division
Assist walk-in customers with questions about products on display and develop sales follow-up/ closing strategy as a result of these meetings
Keep current on all products policies and programs.
Maintain a high degree of sales professionalism through study and attendance at Caterpillar and other training seminars.
Maintain activities, opportunities, accounts and contact information in Sales Link CRM Software.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION/
Experience:
B.S. degree or equivalent experience. High mechanical aptitude required. Industry experience is a major plus.

proficiency in Excel, Word and CRM software.

Responsibilities:
None
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
The ability to recognize revenue opportunities developing new business, new accounts nurturing improved customer relationships.
The ability to understand and follow credit department procedures and policies to obtain credit approval for all customers. Assist credit department with collection problems.
