Summary:
A Journeyman Truck Technician is herby defined to be an all-around journeyman who can do all necessary mechanical work either inside or outside the plant, as may be required by the business of the company. Journeymen truck technician must be familiar with and be able to use all available diagnostic software applicable to their job assignments and must be able to perform all Full Service work including all engine manufactures and chassis components. All journeymen are required to stay reasonable current in their fields through a combination of company provided classroom and on the job training and off the job training self study with company provided material.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
Technician with significant prior experience and possesses significant mechanical and electrical systems knowledge. Tasks include the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a truck drive train and its systems. A significant understanding of proper truck operation and its systems is expected. A high level of proficiency with computers, parts and service manuals, all technical product/service bulletins, news, updates, is expected. Technicians maybe assigned by the company to make service calls and emergency service calls utilizing a company vehicle.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION/
Experience:
Experience in Truck chassis and engine.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
High skills in Engines repair.
