POSITION SUMMARY: The Service writer's primary responsibility is to provide logistical support to all shop service supervisors and technicians in their related functions to better enable those personnel to provide the best service repairs available in the industry...

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):

Initiate , maintain and close work orders
Achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction, employee engagement and profitability
Ensure all work orders comply with the SOP 's for service operations
To include:
- Proper PO#'s
- SIMS entries
- Outside Purchase order management
- Warranty compliance
- PI/PSP compliance
Monitor Labor entry from all areas and reconcile in work order system
Answer service office phone calls
Issue PO#'s to vendors for sub-let work and materials and the accounting those invoices upon receipt.
Prepare work-orders for warranty processing to include report, pictures, claim stories.
Monitor and reconcile labor entry from all shop techs
Balance DBSI and E time labor entry for shop techs
Attend to service Will Call customers
Schedule shop PM calls
Advise PSSR's of thei customer machines coming into shop
Communicate with customers on repairs status and or related business
Prepare work orders for invoicing to include closing and reviewing
Scan necessary work order documents
Comply with work rules and company policies
Any special projects deemed necessary.
Cross training and initial training of new admin personnel.
Distribute corporate LDL
Maintain monthly jobs exception report
Manage and maintain all service office supplies and assist in uniform distribution
Conform to industry and company performance metrics and benchmarks
Process all credit card and third party billing systems (ARIBA).
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years of administrative and customer experience in a related field preferred.
Advanced user of all Microsoft Office products to include Excel preferred
Working knowledge of CODA, DSI, SIMS and DBSI a plus
Accounts reveivable and Payable experience preferrred

Exceptional communication, Good interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to carry on effective communication with customers to maintain a high level of customer loyalty

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
