Product Development Specialist
The Product Development Specialist is responsible for developing standard requests for automotive, power sports and recreational vehicle insurance related products that are sold to an end-consumer by a manufacturer, retailer, financial institution and affinity group or directly to an end-consumer to drive growth and attract consumer sales.
Under regular supervision, the Product Development Analyst develops products and related materials for requests received.
Responsibilities:
Research Developing and analyzing competitive comparisons Creating product design alternativesCreating new product concepts Developing customer agreements and collateral materialsInitiating Department of Insurance filings Initiating Lending Institution filings Developing product specifications Managing third party vendor relationshipsManaging printed material inventoryBasic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - preferred in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Mathematics2 years experience in an office setting.
Other requirements:
Intermediate in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)Basic product knowledgeAbility to delegate simple tasks to other members of the team.
Dedicated and driven professional with a track record of recent accomplishments.
A high degree of motivation and a self-starting attitude with a desire to thrive on new challenges and to take on additional responsibility.
Ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and challenging work environment.
